Harding Loevner recently announced Ferrill Roll will complete the transition from co-CIO to sole CIO, and current co-CIO Simon Hallett will give up his CIO responsibilities at the end of 2020. Hallett will remain at the firm as the vice chairman of the executive committee. Roll will give up his co-lead manager role on Harding Loevner Global Equity HLMGX after he becomes the sole CIO, but he will continue to serve as a co-lead manager of Harding Loevner International Equity HLMIX.
