William Kerwin, CFA

William Kerwin, CFA, is a senior equity analyst, technology, for Morningstar. He covers the IT supply chain, hardware, and semiconductor stocks. His coverage includes Apple, Broadcom, and chip equipment stocks like Applied Materials.

Before joining Morningstar in 2019, Kerwin was an intern on Morningstar’s basic-materials team within equity research. In 2019, he started as an associate equity analyst on the technology team, supporting hardware coverage. He started his role as an analyst in 2020.

Kerwin holds a Bachelor of Science in economics with a math emphasis and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
