Amrize Is Well Positioned to Benefit From US Construction Spending Following Spinoff From Holcim
Amrize is one of the largest producers of building materials and products in North America. Its portfolio contains aggregates, cement, ready-mix concrete, asphalt, roofing products, and wall systems. Amrize was formed through a spinoff from Holcim in 2025 as the latter looked to regionalize its business. Now, Amrize is the largest provider of cement in North America and the second-largest commercial roofing company in North America. It also maintains significant market share in aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and asphalt markets. At the end of 2024, Amrize had almost 5.5 billion tons of aggregate reserves and 2.1 billion tons of cement reserves, representing approximately 46 years and 71 years of reserves, respectively.
