As a stand-alone aerospace provider, Honeywell Aerospace’s management will be able to focus on its core markets and allocate capital back into the widest-moat portions.
Despite its prominent franchise in auxiliary power units, Honeywell Aerospace’s engine and power business delivers lower margins than its other business lines.
