Hong Cheng

Hong Cheng is the Head of Fixed Income & Currency Research within the multi-asset research team at Morningstar. In this role, she leads research efforts on fixed income asset classes, currencies, and macroeconomic research across global markets. Prior to her current position, Hong was a Portfolio Manager at Morningstar Investment Management LLC, where she managed several Morningstar mutual funds and income-focused multi-asset portfolios. Hong holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Insurance from Renmin University of China, a master’s degree in Finance from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is also a CFA® charterholder.
