Strategy

The investment seeks a favorable long-term total return, mainly through capital appreciation, by investing primarily in a portfolio of equity securities in smaller domestic companies based on a market index. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities included in its benchmark index, the Russell 2000® Index. The Russell 2000 Index measures the performance of the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity universe.
