Subadvisor Zevenbergen Capital Investments announced that Brooke de Boutray, a longtime team member and comanager on Virtus Zevenbergen Technology, will retire on Dec. 31, 2023. De Boutray has been with the firm since the early 1990s and was one of the first members to join firm founder Nancy Zevenbergen. While de Boutray's departure will be a loss for the firm, this retirement wasn't unexpected and does not change the strategy's Average People rating. Zevenbergen and comanagers Anthony Zackery and Joseph Dennison remain. This is a team-based approach, and the managers draw on one analyst for support.
