Effective June 8, 2023, Lindsay Rosner is no longer a portfolio manager for PGIM Balanced upon her departure from the firm. Rosner joined the management roster in September 2021 and comanaged the fixed-income sleeve of PGIM Balanced alongside a seasoned group of managers, including Michael Collins (who plans to retire around April 2024), Gregory Peters, Robert Tipp, and Richard Piccirillo. The allocation managers (Edward Campbell, Joel Kallman, and Marco Aiolfi) and equity managers (Stacie Mintz and Edward Lithgow) from PGIM Quantitative Solutions will continue to manage the fund with the four remaining fixed-income managers. The PGIM fixed-income team bolstered its resources in anticipation of Collins' retirement announcement by promoting Rosner to senior portfolio manager and adding two new members to the multisector portfolio management team. While Rosner's departure weakens the succession plan ahead of Collins' retirement, the remaining managers' experience, the plentiful time ahead of Collins' retirement, and the fixed-income division's considerable supporting depth alleviate concerns over the impact. The fund maintains its Above Average People rating and Morningstar Medalist Rating of Bronze for its cheapest share classes and Neutral for its pricier ones.
