Comanager Holly Fleiss of JPMorgan Large Cap Growth is taking a leave of absence from Sept. 15, 2021, until Jan. 2, 2022. Her roughly three-month leave does not affect the strategy’s Morningstar Analyst Ratings, which range from Bronze to Neutral depending on fees.
The bulk of the fund’s team will remain intact through Fleiss’ leave. Lead manager Giri Devulapally and comanagers Larry Lee and Joe Wilson will continue in their roles, and they still have access to two dedicated analysts.
Fleiss will be missed, though. She became a comanager on the strategy in November 2020 and specializes in the portfolio’s healthcare names. She’s been with the firm for nine of her approximately 16 years in the industry.
