Columbia named Harvey Liu, Nick Smith, and Mike Welter as comanagers in Columbia Contrarian Core’s prospectus, joining lead manager Guy Pope. The comanagers have all effectively served in those roles for 13 years or longer, vetting portfolio names and contributing to portfolio decisions, but the firm previously did not list them on the fund’s prospectus; they’ve now been added to reflect their contributions, according to a Columbia spokesperson. Because the only change here is the naming of the comanagers on regulatory filings, the news does not affect the fund’s Above Average People rating or its Morningstar Medalist Ratings.
