Strategy

The investment seeks to maximize total return through a combination of current income and capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in bonds of issuers in a number of different countries, which may include the United States. It invests primarily in securities, which, at the time of investment, are rated investment grade.
