Strategy

The investment seeks a high level of current income by investing in high-yield debt securities. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of borrowings, if any, for investment purposes) in high-yield bonds. It normally invests primarily in U.S. securities. Junk bonds are high-risk debt securities rated below investment grade.
