Fayez Sarofim, who founded his eponymous investment firm in 1958, has died at age 93. Sarofim was still listed as a manager on BNY Mellon Appreciation and BNY Mellon Worldwide Growth but had long ago built out the team that runs these strategies on a day-to-day basis. As a result, their Above Average People rating and overall Morningstar Analyst Ratings are not impacted.
