Rheinmetall’s third-quarter operating profit rose 62% to EUR 553 million. It cut 2026 sales guidance to EUR 13.2 billion from EUR 13.7 billion-EUR 14.2 billion and its operating margin outlook to 18.5% from around 19%. Shares fell about 16% intraday.
Rheinmetall is well positioned to capitalize on the 35% growth in the European defense budget during the next five years.
