Acura Pharmaceuticals Inc is a drug delivery company engaged in the research, development and commercialization of technologies and products intended to address safe use of medications. It has discovered and developed three proprietary platform technologies which can be used to develop multiple products. Its Limitx Technology is being developed to minimize the risk of overdose, its Aversion Technology is intended to address methods of abuse associated with opioid analgesics while its Impede Technology is directed at minimizing the extraction and conversion of pseudoephedrine, or PSE, into methamphetamine.
