Shawn Tay is an associate equity analyst at Morningstar.* He covers the Chinese consumer and logistics stocks, including Chinese e-commerce and express delivery companies.
Before joining Morningstar in 2025, Tay spent six years at Great Eastern Singapore, where he worked as a financial planner, advising individual clients on personal wealth management, investment solutions, and retirement planning.
Tay holds a Bachelor of Science (honors) in biological sciences from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Master of Business Administration (distinction) from the University of Manchester’s Alliance Manchester Business School. He is also a Certified Financial Planner™.
