Nicholas Lieb, CFA

Nicholas Lieb, CFA, is an equity analyst, industrials, for Morningstar. He covers industrial conglomerates that produce aerospace, electrical, laboratory, and manufacturing equipment. His coverage also includes companies that offer business services such as uniform rentals and consulting.

Before joining Morningstar in 2024, Lieb spent four years managing a long-only investment fund focused on high-quality businesses. Before that, he worked at Lockheed Martin on the environment, safety, and health team.

Lieb holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
