Johannes Faul, CFA, is a director for Morningstar.* He covers the Australian retail sector, including consumer staples Woolworths and Coles, as well as discretionary retailers like Wesfarmers.
Before joining Morningstar in 2016, Faul had over 10 years’ experience as a sell-side equity analyst, including at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the Bank of Montreal, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Before that, he worked in corporate finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Faul holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Cologne. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
