DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyrano Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage regenerative medicine company developing novel treatments for smell and taste disorders, today announced that results from the Phase 2 FLAVOR trial of CYR-064 will open the General Session at the 72nd Annual Meeting of the American Rhinologic Society (ARS), leading the meeting's "Oral Presentations: Top 5 Clinical Science" track.
Mas Takashima, MD, FARS, Principal Investigator of the FLAVOR trial, will present "FLAVOR Phase 2 RCT: Theophylline Nasal Spray for Persistent Post-Viral Hyposmia." The presentation will highlight results from Cyrano's Phase 2 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluating CYR-064 in patients with persistent post-viral loss of smell. As previously announced, the trial met its primary endpoint demonstrating the safety and tolerability of CYR-064 with no treatment-related serious adverse events and demonstrated durable improvements in smell function across multiple, secondary efficacy endpoints.
The selection of FLAVOR as the first presentation in ARS's Top 5 Clinical Science session reflects the growing clinical and scientific interest in addressing persistent olfactory dysfunction, an area with substantial unmet medical need and no approved pharmacologic treatment options.

The 72nd Annual Meeting of the American Rhinologic Society will take place October 15–17, 2026, in Los Angeles, California. The FLAVOR presentation is scheduled for October 16.
