This relationship will support more institutional capital deployment across traditional fixed-income and credit markets
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- IRACE Digital Bank, a global banking brand comprising three separate regulated entities (collectively "IRACE"), serving both traditional and digital asset firms, today announced that Maple Finance ("Maple"), one of the world's largest onchain asset managers, has established a banking relationship with IRACE.

Maple has originated more than $22 billion in loans and has built a significant presence across institutional digital asset credit and asset management. This relationship will support certain of Maple's traditional financial-market processes, including institutional cash management, fiat banking, payments and settlement. IRACE provides the banking infrastructure required to move fiat efficiently between Maple and its institutional counterparties.
"The next generation of institutional finance will not be purely onchain or purely traditional - capital will increasingly move between the two," said John Cronin, Global CEO at IRACE Digital Bank. "Maple is one of the clearest examples of that convergence. They have built one of the leading institutional credit platforms in digital assets and IRACE provides the regulated banking infrastructure needed to connect that activity with traditional financial markets. This is exactly the type of client and use case IRACE was built to serve."
IRACE's multi-jurisdiction banking infrastructure is designed to support institutional clients operating across traditional and digital asset markets, including large-value fiat payments, cash management and settlement with institutional counterparties.
"The next phase of growth requires institutional-grade fiat infrastructure that matches the speed and precision of what we've built onchain," said Sid Powell, CEO and co-founder of Maple. "As we deploy capital across fixed-income and credit markets, the banking layer has to operate at the same standard as our lending book, and that's what we're building with the team at IRACE Digital."
The addition of Maple to IRACE's institutional client base is an important milestone in IRACE's strategy to become the regulated banking infrastructure layer connecting traditional and digital financial markets. As part of this strategy, IRACE is expanding its digital asset capabilities across its regulated jurisdictions alongside its existing institutional banking operations and has disclosed the following updates on the status of those applications.
In the United States, IRACE Digital Bank NA is an OCC-chartered national trust bank authorized to provide trust, custody and related banking services and has received regulatory approval to offer digital asset custody and customer-directed execution services. IRACE group companies are also pursuing additional licenses to expand its digital asset capabilities in other jurisdictions. Together, these capabilities are intended to provide institutional clients with a single platform capable of supporting fiat, traditional assets and digital assets across multiple jurisdictions.
