PITTSBURGH, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a new target game for swimming pools and ponds that would simulate spear fishing," said an inventor, from Vincent, Ala., "so I invented the AQUA HUNTER. My design would be completely safe to humans and the swimming pool itself."

The patent-pending invention provides a fun toy that enables children to simulate spearfishing in a swimming pool or pond. In doing so, it offers an alternative to traditional pool activities and water toys. As a result, it increases entertainment. It also could spark an interest in real spearfishing. The invention features a safe and simple design that is easy to use so it is ideal for children. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Birmingham sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
