PHOENIX, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cranial Technologies announced today that it has resolved its patent infringement litigation against Ottobock related to its 3D cranial band through a settlement agreement on mutually acceptable, confidential terms.

Ottobock has withdrawn its current cranial orthotic device from the market and has agreed not to produce such devices for sale or distribution in the U.S., including 3D printed cranial orthotic devices.
Additionally, Ottobock agrees to pay a settlement fee to Cranial Technologies, calculated by Cranial Technologies based on the number of helmets sold since inception. Cranial Tech stands fully committed to protecting its innovations and will take appropriate steps to defend them.
