Three-day national event aims to provide business owners with practical education and implementation support for tax planning, wealth building, and long-term financial strategies
TEMECULA, Calif., July 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As small businesses continue to navigate rising taxes, inflation, increasing operating costs, and evolving regulatory requirements, the National Retirement Institute (NRI) is launching the Sonic Boom Summit, a three-day educational event designed to help entrepreneurs develop tax-efficient financial strategies beyond traditional business growth.
Taking place September 28–30, 2026, at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California, the Summit will bring together entrepreneurs, financial professionals, and business leaders to explore strategies for tax reduction, business structuring, asset protection, passive income, and long-term wealth planning.
According to the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), taxes consistently rank among the top concerns of America's small business owners, alongside inflation and the rising cost of doing business. Many entrepreneurs focus on growing their businesses but receive little formal education on preserving and growing personal wealth.
"Business owners are experts at building companies, but many have never been taught how to build wealth outside of their businesses," said Yvette Spillman, CEO of National Retirement Institute and host of the Sonic Boom Summit. "Our goal is to provide practical education and actionable strategies that help entrepreneurs strengthen both their businesses and their long-term financial futures."
Unlike many business conferences that emphasize motivation and networking, the Sonic Boom Summit is designed to focus on implementation. Attendees will receive educational sessions as well as guidance intended to help them apply the strategies discussed during the event.
Topics will include:
- Tax reduction strategies for business owners
- Business entity and organizational structures
- Asset protection planning
- Passive income opportunities
- Long-term wealth-building strategies
- Financial planning designed specifically for entrepreneurs
The Summit is intended for entrepreneurs, small business owners, solopreneurs, family-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses, independent professionals, and real estate investors seeking practical approaches to improving their financial position.
Registration is now open, and attendance is limited due to venue capacity.
