PITTSBURGH, July 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a unique and ergonomic way to fuse mechanical precision and multi-sensory feedback into a single, compact interface that transforms how we interact with computers, especially for neurodiverse and accessibility-focused users," said an inventor, from Seattle, Wash., "so I invented the ROTOTOMANDO. My design would combine rotational input, nudge detection, airflow feedback, proximity sensing, and a semantic phone UI into one synchronized experience."

The invention provides a rotational, multimodal input device to control a computer with precision, comfort, and reduced visual or cognitive strain. In doing so, it offers an alternative to using a traditional mouse, keyboard, touchscreen, etc. As a result, it allows for screenless, high-resolution control using natural, circular hand movements. It also reduces fatigue, carpal tunnel stress, imprecision, and cognitive overload. The invention features an innovative and ergonomic design that is easy to use so it is ideal for all computer users, especially neurodiverse and accessibility-focused users.
The original design was submitted to the Portland sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
