Dead & Company is coming to the Sphere this spring
Dead & Company's "final tour" isn't the end of the road for the Grateful Dead offshoot, after all. The John Mayer-led band confirmed Wednesday they will regroup this spring for a residency at Las Vegas' Sphere. Sphere Entertainment Co. (SPHR) and Dead & Company, whose supposed final tour grossed about $115 million and sold 845,000 tickets, made the announcement on Meta Platforms Inc.'s (META) Instagram. Sphere's current residency, U2, is scheduled to play its final shows in March. Sphere shares are up 1% in late-afternoon trading Wednesday.
