Amazon's virtual health care marketplace Amazon Clinic has expanded to all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Amazon.com Inc. announced Tuesday that Amazon Clinic, its virtual health care marketplace, is now available 24/7 to customers in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Amazon Clinic, which was launched in November 2022, was previously only available in 32 states.

Amazon's (AMZN)online clinic offers access to third-party health care providers, all day every day, to provide care for more than 30 common health concerns, including erectile dysfunction, urinary tract infection and conjunctivitis, or "pink eye."

The clinic also offers birth control and emergency contraception and refills on prescriptions, such as for asthma, hypertension and epinephrine (EpiPen).

While Amazon Clinic now supports video visits nationwide, with access to clinicians through Amazon.com and the Amazon mobile app, it also provides message-based consultations in 34 states.

Amazon's move into U.S. healthcare system followed the 2018 acquisition of PillPack, which is now called Amazon Pharmacy, and has most recently included the completion of the $3.9 billion acquisition of primary care organization One Medical.

Amazon's stock fell 1.29% in morning trading Tuesday. It has soared just under 30% over the past three months, while the S&P 500 index has just under 10%.
