Battery maker Enovix names former Micron executive its new CFO
Enovix Corp. (ENVX) said late Thursday it has named Farhan Ahmad its chief financial officer, replacing Steffen Pietzke, who is stepping down on July 9. Pietzke will stay on as a consultant for up to six months to ensure a smooth transition, the battery maker said. Ahmad joins Enovix from Micron Technology Inc. (MU), where he most recently was VP of investor relations and finance strategy, Enovix said. Shares of Enovix were flat in the extended session Thursday after ending the regular trading day up 4.3%. Micron shares edged lower after a 4.1% decline in the session.
