Battery maker Enovix's stock jumps after Q2 production data
Shares of Enovix Corp. (ENVX) rallied nearly 6% in the aftermarket Thursday after the battery maker said it had arrived at a quarterly production milestone ahead of schedule. The Fremont, Calif., company said it had reached its second-quarter forecast of 18,000 units manufactured, and it expects to exceed its quarterly guidance for the number of units produced in California with more than two weeks remaining in the quarter. Enovix reiterated its guidance of production of 180,000 cells for customers for the year. The stock ended the regular trading day up 0.4%.
