Bank OZK boosts quarterly dividend and announces preferred stock dividend; shares rise
Bank OZK (OZK), a regional bank with operations in eight states, said on Monday that it declared a quarterly cash dividend of 35 cents a share, a 2.94% increase from the prior quarter. That dividend is payable on April 21 to shareholders of record as of April 14. The company's board also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.28906 a share on its Series A Preferred Stock "for the period covering February 15, 2023 through, but excluding May 15, 2023." The Series A Preferred Stock dividend is payable on May 15 to shareholders as of May 1. Shares rose 6% after hours on Monday.
