China, EU Move Forward on Trade Relationship Talks

China and the EU said they reached an understanding on hybrid vehicles and progressed trade talks in other areas following meetings between EU's top trade negotiator and his counterpart in Beijing.
The two sides said in a joint statement that they reached an understanding on trade in hybrid vehicles in compliance with World Trade Organization rules on Friday.
It is one of 16 points outlined where they had sought to make progress, including on market access for medical devices and export controls.
