Treasury Yields Fall on Lower-Than-Expected Inflation Data

U.S. Treasury yields fell on lower-than-expected U.S. inflation.
The Fed's preferred gauge, the PCE, or personal consumption expenditures, was 0.2% in August. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal expected August core PCE inflation to rise by 0.3%
The 12-month PCE readings also came in below expectations.
The 10-year yield fell to 5.203% from 5.234% on the data, according to LSEG.
The two-year declined to 4.835% from 4.881%.
