Moomoo to Offer Kalshi Event Contracts on Trading Platform
By Connor Hart
Moomoo Financial said it has partnered with Kalshi to offer event contracts on its trading platform, providing users with access to regulated prediction markets tied to economic, political and sporting events.
The brokerage said Thursday that users will be able to trade contracts linked to outcomes such as Federal Reserve interest-rate decisions, inflation reports, elections and major global sporting events such as the 2026 World Cup.
Event contracts are exchange-listed derivatives that allow participants to take positions on the outcome of specific events. Contract prices will range from 1 cent to $1 and reflect the market's implied probability of an outcome, the company said.
The contracts will be integrated into Moomoo's existing platform alongside stocks, exchange-traded funds and options. The company noted the products are fully collateralized and will only be available to eligible users.
"Our users are increasingly engaging with markets around major macroeconomic and news-driven events," said Nate Palmer, president of Moomoo U.S., a unit of Futu Holdings. "Event contracts through Kalshi provide a more direct and transparent way for eligible users to express views on those developments within a regulated market structure."
