Leonardo DRS Gets Potential $25 Billion Contract With Defense Department

Leonardo DRS notched an engineering solutions contract with the Defense Department that may have a total value of more than $25 billion over ten years.

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity award is for the Advanced Technology Support Program V to support the U.S. military in fielding emerging technologies, the company said Monday.

Under the award, the company will compete for future task orders throughout the contract's period of performance. Leonardo DRS will offer work in areas like advanced sensing and computing to integrated mission systems, the company said.

Leonardo DRS is one of 13 companies awarded the contract.
