Jollibee Foods Plans to Spinoff International Business with U.S. Listing by 2027

By Kimberley Kao

Jollibee Foods Corp. plans to spin off its international business and list it in the U.S. by late 2027, as the Philippine fast-food group moves to accelerate its growth globally.

The new entity--Jollibee Foods Corporation International--would include all its operations and businesses outside the Philippines, while its domestic operations will remain as a listed company on the Philippine Stock Exchange, it said in a statement Tuesday.

"The structure is designed to sharpen strategic focus for each company and support each business in pursuing its strategic ambitions, while enhancing the clarity of each equity story," Jollibee said.

The transaction is expected to result in current shareholders receiving shares in the international business equal to their prevailing holdings, it said.

Jollibee currently manages and operates a portfolio which includes 19 brands with over 10,000 stores and cafés across 33 countries, and holds ownership stakes in brands such as The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Jollibee has a market capitalization of over $3.6 billion, according to LSEG data. For the first nine months of 2025, it posted revenue of $3.79 billion, up 14% compared with the same period a year earlier, while net profit was 2.2% higher at about $146.3 million.

The company has hired on the structure, process, and timing of the separation and potential U.S. listing for the proposed spinoff. It added that the timing of the transaction remains subject to market conditions and regulatory approval.

The company's shares jumped over 10% in early trade Tuesday, after a trading halt ahead of the announcement was lifted.
