Jaguar Manufacturer Says Cyberattack Affected Customer Data

By Nina Kienle

Jaguar Land Rover said it believes last week's cyberattack affected some customer data.

The U.K. auto manufacturer--which sells Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles and is a subsidiary of India's Tata Motors--said Wednesday that its forensic investigation continues and it would contact anyone as appropriate.

Further details weren't disclosed.

Jaguar Land Rover first said it had been affected by a cyber incident that hit retail and production activities on Sept. 2.
