Tesla Plans to Cut 400 Jobs at German Site, Tagesspiegel Reports
-- U.S electric car manufacturer Tesla wants to cut around 400 jobs at its Brandenburg factory in Germany by means of a volunteer program to avoid redundancies, German newspaper Tagesspiegel reports.
-- The news follows Chief Executive Elon Musk's statement last week that 10% of Tesla's 140,000 employees worldwide would be laid off, according to Tagesspiegel.
-- Tesla didn't immediately respond to request for comment.
