Sony Pictures in Talks To Join Bid for Paramount, New York Times Reports
--Sony Pictures Entertainment, the movie studio division of Sony, has been in discussions with Apollo Global Management about potentially joining a bid for Paramount, The New York Times reports, citing two people familiar with the situation.
--Sony Pictures and Apollo have not submitted an official bid because Paramount is in exclusive talks with Skydance.
--The people said the bid would be an all-cash offer for outstanding stock in Paramount, though the terms are still being negotiated.
