TotalEnergies Expands Natural Gas Production in Texas

TotalEnergies agreed to acquire a 20% interest held by Texas-based gas company Lewis Energy Group in the Dorado field, increasing its natural gas production in the U.S.
The French energy company said Monday that the deal aims to increase its net U.S. natural gas production by 50 million cubic feet a day in 2024,with the potential for an additional 50 Mcf per day by 2028.
The field is operated by EOG Resources.
