US Futures, European Stocks Mixed

U.S. futures for the S&P 500 were flat and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.1%. Changes in futures do not necessarily predict movements after the opening bell.

In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 gained 0.3% in morning trading. Just Eat added 6% and Delivery Hero climbed 4.2%. On the other hand, Inv Latour B slipped 3.3%, and Swedish Orphan Biovitrum lost 2.1%. The FTSE 100 was flat. Other stocks in Europe were up as France's CAC 40 increased 0.3% and Germany's DAX rose 0.3%.

The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index was flat at 98.44.

In commodities, Brent crude fell 0.9% to $81.48 a barrel, and WTI crude dropped 0.8% to $76.24 a barrel.

The German 10-year Bund yield declined by 3 basis points to 2.356% from 2.385%, and the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury fell by 1 basis point to 4.155% from 4.168%. Bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.
