General Dynamics Awarded Canadian Army Contracts Worth Up to $1.26 Billion

General Dynamics Mission Systems Canada was awarded four contracts to support the Canadian Army's land command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance system.

The aerospace and defense company on Wednesday said that the government of Canada's contracts are valued at up to 1.68 billion Canadian dollars ($1.26 billion.)

"We are prepared to meet the challenges of the modern battlespace and will continue the digitization of the Canadian Armed Forces," said Joel Houde, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics Mission Systems--Canada.
