Affirm to Provide Buy-Now-Pay-Later Service at Walmart Self-Checkout Kiosks
By Will Feuer
Affirm, the buy-now-pay-later company, said Tuesday it has expanded its partnership with Walmart and will now provide pay-over-time options at Walmart's self-checkout kiosks at over 4,500 stores in the U.S.
"Recent Affirm research revealed that more than half of Americans (54%) are looking for retailers to offer a buy now, pay later option at checkout," said Pat Suh, Affirm's senior vice president of revenue. "Moreover, we've found that 76% of consumers would either delay or not make a purchase without Affirm."
Affirm's pay-over-time service is also available via Walmart's website and through its app, Affirm said.
