Swisscom's Fastweb Mulling Acquisition of Vodafone's Italian Unit, Bloomberg Reports
--Swisscom's Fastweb unit is looking to buy Vodafone Group's Italian business, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.
--Bloomberg also says that Vodafone has been in on-off talks with French billionaire Xavier Niel's Iliad over the potential merger of their Italian businesses.
--Vodafone declined to comment on the report when approached by Dow Jones Newswires. Neither Swisscom nor Iliad immediately responded when contacted for comment.
--Vodafone shares at 1501 GMT were up 1.55% at 71.97 pence compared with a 0.06% fall in the FTSE 100 index.
