By Pierre Bertrand
Infineon Technologies and Vitesco Technologies have signed an agreement to deepen their partnership and to generate more than 1 billion euros ($1.06 billion) in planned sales volume.
The multi-year agreement, taking effect in 2027, is to further improve the efficiency and system costs for future electrified vehicles, Infineon said in a statement.
As part of the partnership, Vitesco will use microcontroller technology from Infineon in its new electrification system solutions as well as in its next-generation master and zone controllers, the company said.
