By Sabela Ojea
New Zealand-based Meridian Energy has seen a rise in hydrogen storage levels from September to October amid lower demand for electricity.
The hydroelectric power generation company said that in the month to Oct. 5 national hydro storage rose to 116% of historical levels from 83%.
Last month was the warmest September on record in New Zealand, with national electricity demand declining 1.7% when compared with the same period a year earlier.
