Atos to Sell EcoAct to Schneider Electric in Last Move of Divestment Plan
By David Sachs
Atos said Monday that it is in talks with Schneider Electric to sell EcoAct and its subsidiaries for an undisclosed sum.
The French computer and information technology company said it aims to sell 100% of its climate consultancy to the French energy and digital automation company to complete its divestment plan.
EcoAct generated around 70 million euros ($76.4 million) in its 2022 fiscal year and currently employs about 400 people, Atos said.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the second half of the year, Atos said.
