--The German branch of Silicon Valley Bank is reported to be up for sale in the wake of the sellout of the sunken U.S. bank and its British subsidiary, German business news site Capital.de reports, citing sister publication Finance Forward.
-- A potential buyer could be HSBC, the news outlet says citing industry insiders. However, First Citizens Bank, which took over Silicon Valley Bank's U.S. business, isn't interested in the German business, according to Capital.de, citing company sources.
