SolarEdge Technologies Settles Intellectual Property Claim With Ampt

By Sabela Ojea

SolarEdge Technologies Inc. said Tuesday it entered into an intellectual-property related settlement with private solar energy company Ampt.

The developer of energy technology said in a U.S. Securities Exchange filing that both parties have granted each other 10-year cross-licenses for certain intellectual property.

Ampt, whose products feature patented technology to enable photovoltaic systems, last July filed a complaint against SolarEdge Technologies with the International Trade Commission alleging patent infringement in the Delaware court.
