South32 Says Hermosa Project Added to U.S. FAST-41 Process

South32 said its Hermosa project in the U.S. state of Arizona, where it is seeking to mine federally designated critical minerals zinc and manganese, has become to first mining project added to the country's FAST-41 process, designed to speed up permitting.
"The inclusion of Hermosa as the first mining project added to the FAST-41 process is an important milestone that recognizes the project's potential to strengthen the domestic supply of critical minerals in the U.S.," Chief Executive Graham Kerr said.
