Foundation Credit (“Foundation”), an established alternative asset manager dedicated to the multi-trillion-dollar municipal credit and infrastructure debt markets in the United States, is pleased to announce the final close of its infrastructure debt fund, Foundation Infrastructure Debt Fund II LP (“FIO Fund II” or “the Fund”).
FIO Fund II closed with approximately $540 million of total capital commitments, exceeding its target. The Fund received significant participation from a broad mix of existing and new institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments and foundations, asset managers and RIAs.
Steve Pinkos, President of Foundation Credit, said, “We are grateful for the support and confidence of our investing partners in FIO Fund II. As a solutions provider for essential infrastructure projects across the United States, we are excited about the robust pipeline of opportunities in our middle market focused infrastructure debt strategy.”
The Fund is part of the firm’s Foundation Infrastructure Opportunities (“FIO”) platform and focuses on opportunities in the highly fragmented local U.S. infrastructure debt market by offering patient, flexible capital solutions. The broad sector focus includes Transportation, Water & Wastewater, Sustainable/Environmental, Social and Smart Infrastructure.
