The Mammoth Collection is Golden Gate Global’s 17th EB-5 project in the State of California. The fully funded project financed the development of a 101-key Residence Inn by Marriott and an 80-key Hampton Inn by Hilton and was structured for 45 EB-5 investors. The investment features a senior secured loan, a first deed of trust across both hotel assets, and a developer completion guarantee.
The approval comes on the heels of USCIS approval of Anasu Resort Phase 2, another rural EB-5 project sponsored by Golden Gate Global in California Wine Country across Lake and Napa counties. Anasu is the vision of hospitality pioneer Adrian Zecha, founder of Aman Resorts and co-founder of Regent International Hotels.
Golden Gate Global’s California portfolio has also recently received recognition beyond the EB-5 industry. Appellation Healdsburg, a Golden Gate Global-sponsored project in Sonoma County, was recently named the Best Resort in California by Travel + Leisure magazine.
Since 2011, Golden Gate Global has focused on bringing institutional-quality investments to the immigrant investor community. The firm believes strongly in the depth and resilience of California’s economy, from Silicon Valley and Hollywood to Wine Country, hospitality, tourism, and real estate. With 17 sponsored EB-5 projects in the state, Golden Gate Global has established itself as the largest sponsor of EB-5 projects in California.
The project approvals also come at an important time for investors considering the EB-5 Green Card program. USCIS filing fees for Form I-526E are scheduled to increase significantly beginning November 30, 2026. In addition, the minimum EB-5 investment amount is expected to increase beginning January 1, 2027 for qualifying Targeted Employment Area projects from $800,000 today to more than $900,000, as part of the program’s scheduled inflation adjustment.
For prospective investors considering the EB-5 Green Card program, these recent approvals reflect Golden Gate Global’s continued commitment to sponsoring institutional-quality EB-5 projects in California. With a growing portfolio across the state and a 100% USCIS project approval rate, the firm remains focused on combining strong project fundamentals with experienced sponsorship and disciplined execution.
